The safety of both our staff and customers is extremely important to us. In this blog we will be going through the new safety procedures we hhave pout in place to ensure we follow the goverment guildlines regarding COVID-19.
When entering our dealership, you will see sanitisation stations for both customer and staff to use on arrival. Protective screens have ben fitted on all desks around the dealership. Our seating area has been re-arranged following the 2 metre distancing rules. Members of the same household can sit together. We will be asking customers when booking an appointment for service or bosdyshop if they will be waiting on site to monitor the number of cusomters in the waiting area. Unfortunately we will not be offering any hot drinks to our customers.
An effective contactless vehicle drop of scheme has been put into place for our service and Bodyshop customers allowing them to place vehicle keys in a box provided. Keys will then be wiped down and all technicians will be wearing protective equipment when working on the vehicle. The high touch areas will then be wiped down when the work is completed including the key before handing the vehicle back to the customer. We will also be offering a local contactless collection and delivery service where we will collect the vehicle from you and deliver back after completion. Payment can be made via phone, bank transfer or through a service plan.
From the first of June all of our customer contact must be by appointment only, so if you would like to visit our showroom or test drive a vehicle you must call to book your 2 hour appointment with one of hour sales team. This is to avoid overcrowding in our showroom. Personised walk round videos of all vehicles are available and we can offer customers Unaccompanied test drives by appointment too. All vehicles for sale are deep cleaned, sanitised and have also been fitted with a protection covering all of the main contact areas.
The staff at Angus MacKinnon are taking part in a strict daily cleaning rota to ensure the dealership is a safe enviroment for all this includes all the high touch areas including door handles, toilets, seating areas and desks.
