Cambelts or timing belts are one of the most crucial parts of the engine. Over time, they can become worn or damaged by heat produced from the engine or wear and tear from adverse weather conditions. The recommended replacement time is when the belt has reached 50,000 - 80,000 miles, but it's much better to check that than to be left with a broken cambelt.

Broken cambelts are expensive to replace and can create a whole host of other damage to your engine. This can often result in having to replace the entire engine, which is a costly exercise. Get in touch for advice. We won't carry out any work without prior authorisation.
