The LIFE SAVING Companies of Uttoxeter

1 Year Today….

Angus MacKinnon Ltd FULLY DONATED a high spec Land Rover Freelander, carried out the relative conversions, and pledged to maintain the vehicle throughout its duration of service. We also invested in a private number plate - FR02 AMK which stands for First Responder to Angus MacKinnon Ltd.

At Angus MacKinnon Ltd, we pride ourselves on giving back to the community. Uttoxeter and the surrounding area has been without a first responder for many years, with no doubt a vital lifesaving role!
Mary Dorrington reached out to us looking for a vehicle in 2022, we were more than happy to help!

HEX Graphics, part of the Bri-Store Group generously supplied and fitted the government specific Community First Responder livery, you have probably seen the Freelander around Uttoxeter of the past year.

A huge thank you goes to RBA Wealth Management, Uttoxeter for donating fuel for the past 12 months. Along with the National Farmers Union for insuring the vehicle in 2022 and MotorKraft Vehicle Accessory Specialists for supplying containment solutions to house the medical equipment.

For the next 12 months JMI Planning have paid £350 to pay for the Freelander insurance. JMI Planning is a Midlands based planning consultancy centrally located in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. With over 30 years of combined experience, they aim to provide professional planning advice to clients including local planning authorities, architects and construction professionals.

We had a chat with Mary about her experience over the past 12 months, she has generously volunteered over 360 hours of her time to her Community First Responder duties. Mary has attended 66 category 1 and category 2 calls. The Defibrillator donated to Mary by JCB was also used once successfully and 3 further patients were saved due to Marys fast response.

We are delighted to be involved in such an amazing yet vital aspect of Mary’s journey, its important as a community we keep her on the road ensuring she can support the local community of Uttoxeter in their time of need.
